Introduction

Aims

Learning4Life is a whole school programme that encapsulates the ethos of Handsworth Wood Girls’ School.  It is a project that captures the whole child, allowing her to display her Personal Learning and Thinking Skills, for example, her creativity, her independence, her self-awareness, her self-discipline, her self-motivation and determination.  Learning4Life will allow your daughter to grow into the responsible young lady that you would hope or expect her to be.  By participating in this programme, your daughter will also be able to assess herself so that she will always know how her social education is developing and improving. 

Learning4Life will be covered in discreet form class sessions three times a week where they will be overseen by the form tutor and delivered by the students themselves in order for them to be able to develop their confidence and practice their presentation skills.
